Year in Review | St. Louis Children’s Photographer

December 28, 2010

2010 has been a fabulous year and I wanted to send it off with a highlight reel of some of my favorite portraits taken throughout the last dozen months. Photographing children and their families bring me so much joy and it’s been an honor to be a part of the lives of my clients throughout the years. It’s amazing to see the journey that life takes these lil’ ones – from the time they’re in their mommy’s belly, their first days in the world, the many milestones they overcome within that first year, the curiosity and innocence of tiny tots – they are all moments to be enjoyed, captured and remembered for years to come. I’m glad that I’m able to capture these cherished moments for families that can be passed down through the generations. Enjoy the year in review highlight reel!

These beautiful ladies were so much fun to photograph during their customized portrait session. I just love their relationship together and I think it came across well in their images. Two strong ladies, full of life! Enjoy the music video.

Beautiful Mother/Daughter Duo! | St. Louis Family Photographer

November 8, 2010

It was a beautiful Autumn evening for this mother/daughter portrait session yesterday! The weather has been unseasonably warm for this time of year, but it’s really working in our favor when it comes to fall portraits.

This session has been in the works for almost a year now and so I felt like I already knew Ms K really well, but I had no idea how sweet and loving these two are towards each other. Seriously…I don’t know many teenage girls who actually adore their mothers as much as Miss M. At one point, I was telling them how beautiful I thought they were and Miss M stopped me and told me that it was her mom who was beautiful and how she just loves the way her mom looks. I told her that she knows where she gets her looks then. I really didn’t want to put my camera down at the end of their session, but I had to since we had lost light. I knew I had great images, but the camera just loves these gals so much that I didn’t want to stop. Enjoy the sneak peek ladies! I can’t wait for you to see the rest. ;)

Model Perfect Brothers! | Alton Family Photographer

October 31, 2010

Just sharing one for now from last night’s session, but I thought this was a perfect image to highlight these brothers. Aren’t they just model perfect? Well, the whole family is like that! Seriously beautiful family. This family spends a lot of time together on their boat during the summer and they wanted that highlighted, so we headed over to their dock at the Alton Marina for their customized portrait session before they had to put away their boat for the winter. Luckily for us, we had unseasonably warm weather last night, which really worked to our advantage – especially since we were on the water. We got a wide variety of images from the boys hanging out on the docks, fishing, fun shots on the “perfect” hill, portraits in tall grass glowing in the evening setting sun and then a series of images with the Alton bridge as our backdrop. It was such a fun session and I can’t wait to share more images, but for now…just this one. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Young Love | Florissant Teen Photographer

March 31, 2009

I had the honor to meet Miss A’s first love! It was great doing another session with this beautiful girl and what fun it was to revisit her sweet 16 session location with her boyfriend who traveled quite a distance to see her! Ahhhh….young love! They are such a fun and cute couple. Enjoy your sneak peek and have a safe flight home – I know Miss A will miss you dearly. Hope the images from your session will help with your long distance relationship.

Sweet 16 | Bellefontaine Teen Photographer

I had such a fun session with beautiful Miss Allie the other day! She just turned 16 and wanted some pictures for her big party. I don’t get to photograph many teens, so I was surprised that we accomplished so much in 20 minutes. This location rocked and I could’ve kept on shooting away if it weren’t for the sun setting and the cold weather. Enjoy the sneak peek!
