O’Fallon Infant Photographer | One Month Young!
February 6, 2012
This lil’ sweetie joined her family a month ago and is already accustomed to this crazy world. She’s SO content and laid back, which I believe she gets from her parents. Her three sisters adore her and are really a big help to mommy. Can you imagine your children fighting over who gets to change a diaper?! AMAZING! Danielle slept peacefully and gave me lots of special treats that are only cute coming from an adorable infant!
Getting messed on is just one of those job hazards and something I totally don’t mind. So worth getting those prized portraits! We totally lucked out with weather today as we got to get outside for a few images at the very end of Danielle’s newborn portrait session at her house! Crazy to be able to do that at the beginning of February, but I’m not complaining one bit as I love getting portraits of lil’ ones surrounded by mother nature and it always results in beautiful images. Enjoy the sneak peek! Can’t wait for you to see the rest.

I had the honor to capture lil’ Keegan this morning just a day shy of his week birthday. He is such a good baby – sleeps really well, doesn’t complain too much except for when hungry and just goes with the flow. I suppose that with three siblings he has to learn quickly how to adapt.
The last time I saw this lil’ man he was still in his mommy’s belly during their maternity photography session. The miracle of life is just amazing! Enjoy the sneak peek!

Andy was a joy to capture, especially since he’s the son of a friend of mine.
Beautiful family J! So happy for you. Enjoy your music video.
Frontenac Newborn Photographer | Christmas Baby
January 16, 2012
This lil’ man belongs to one of my good friends from my video producing days. When I heard that his son arrived on Christmas, I couldn’t be more thrilled. Baby A’s daddy had always been so good to me and it was such an honor to capture his lil’ one this afternoon. When I walked into baby Andy’s room, I saw him laying in his crib and my immediate thought was, “What a cute baby doll!” I literally thought that he was his big sister’s doll. Well, I was right, but it wasn’t a toy baby, but a real one. He’s so adorable and just perfect in every way. J and M couldn’t be luckier parents and I know big sister will be such a good guide to this lil’ man through the journey of life. She’s already lending a helping hand and you can tell that she just adores her baby brother. Enjoy the sneak peek and congrats my friend. I’m so happy for you and your growing family.
St. Louis Infant Photographer | Delicate
January 12, 2012
Well, it’s now week two of the 52 week challenge that I’m doing with a group of fellow photographers. The theme for today is “delicate” and what’s more fitting than a newborn curled up just like in the womb?! Ahhh…those toes, those fingers, that mouth, that whispy hair….pure love.
Check out the next photographer in our circle for her take on delicate!
St. Louis Infant Photographer | Ezra's Music Video
December 31, 2011
Ezra was four days old during his newborn photography session and was quite the hungry man, but sooooooo cute and lovable! His parents are doing a great job with their new lil’ baby boy and he’s taking on traits from his parents already. He’s not a morning person, he likes the sounds of nature and he’s just simply beautiful. I’m sure this family will have a lot of fun together on their adventures and I know that he’ll take to the water just like mommy and daddy – he already loves his baths. I can just picture him on a board, surfing the waves, when he’s a bit older. Congrats and enjoy the music video.
St. Louis Newborn Photographer | Four Days Young
December 20, 2011
I met baby Ezra when he was still in his mommy’s belly during her maternity portrait session this Fall and today I had the honor to capture his newborn portraits at the young age of four days. He was a hungry lil’ man, but still allowed us to get some adorable images of him. He’s so cute with that black hair and he makes the most adorable sounds. We did learn a few things about this young man today; he doesn’t especially enjoy tummy time, he really loves being swaddled, he loves it when daddy walks with him using short baby steps and he seems to like the sound of the ocean. His parents are glowing in their new roles and I’m sure this family will have a fun-filled future together. Enjoy the sneak peek!

St. Louis Newborn Photographer | 7 days young
December 6, 2011
Sydney had only been in the world for 7 days when I had the honor to capture some portraits of her and the family. She was so good for me and her parents seemed so relaxed and happy with their new daughter. It’s such a special and exciting time in a family’s life when welcoming in a newborn to the mix and it’s such privilege to be welcomed into their homes to photograph those moments. Thank you for trusting me with your new baby and for allowing me to get those portraits for you that will surely become family heirlooms.
St. Louis Infant Photographer | Myles
November 15, 2011
Myles did great during his customized newborn portrait session. He had just come home from the hospital the day before and was super sleepy for us. Perfect for getting the image of him on daddy’s shoulder safely. The well-being of my lil’ subjects always comes first, so I will only attempt certain poses when baby is completely sound asleep and I have a spotter to help. Since I did this same capture with Myles older brother, I was happy that we were able to recreate it for his family. Perfect!

It was a pleasure photographing lil’ Mr. Walt as I’ve been capturing his big brother since he was born! Ben loves his baby brother and gave lots of kisses. So sweet. Walt really loves being swaddled, which I remember his big brother liking as an infant as well. Can’t wait to share more, but these two will have to do for now. Enjoy!
