Wildwood Baby Photographer | Two Months Young!

This lil’ beauty will be three months in a couple of weeks, but seems much more advanced for her age. She has good neck strength and has been smiling for quite some time now. She looks a lot like her beautiful sisters with those long eyelashes, pretty eyes and gorgeous complexion. This family is so blessed with three healthy lil’ girls! I’m sure her big sisters will show her the ropes of life as they are already super helpful with their new sibling. Thank you Miss S for being my assistant yesterday. BIG helper you were. Danielle was a month old when I had the pleasure to capture her for her first portrait session. She was a perfect lil’ angel and allowed us to get a variety of images that showed off her beauty. I adore her porcelain complexion, those baby rolls, the peacefulness on her face when she sleeps, and those cute baby vocals that she almost sings. Of course I have a soft spot in my heart for bald babies, as my lil’ girl was a baldie way past the age of one! Soak up the newness of this lil’ beauty in her customized music video! Enjoy.

This lil’ beauty looks just like a porcelain doll. She is precious in every way. This is one of my favorite ages to capture babies and Sydney reminded me why. They are full of personality, are cute as can be sitting and exploring, but can’t quite move around quite yet, so there’s no running around to get a shot. Perfect lil’ models. I hadn’t seen Sydney since her newborn portrait session when she was about a week old, so it was a delight to see how much she’s changed. It’s such a miracle how babies can change so quickly and accomplish so much in such a short time frame. Enjoy the sneak peek!

St. Louis Family Portraits | Family of Three!

This family was such  a joy to photograph during their portrait session this summer. Their son was so happy and curious and I just love how he squeezes his eyes almost shut when he laughs. You can really tell how smitten his parents are with their son and how this lil’ man adores his parents. There’s just a glow around this family and it was an honor to capture that magic for this family. They spend a lot of time at the St. Louis City Garden in the summer, so it was the perfect place to capture this beautiful family. If you haven’t been there, you should really check it out. Great place for families any time of year, but it’s especially fun for the kiddos in the summer when they can play in the fountains.

OK, so I know we’re in winter now, but I thought I’d warm things up with a look at a family portrait session from this summer. This family was so much fun to photograph and they were such troopers dealing with the St. Louis July heat. We got up super early to get that gorgeous light and to get the coolest temps of the day. Totally worth it even though we were all pretty much drenched by the end of the session. (You’d never know from looking at these images though) These portraits just make me smile. This lil’ lady just celebrated her first birthday two days ago! Isn’t she just the cutest? I love her lil’ teeth and big blue eyes. She’s quite the happy baby and I know it’s going to be such a fun Christmas this year for this family. Maddie will probably be more into the paper, bows and boxes, but she will enjoy all the festivities for sure. Happy Birthday and Happy Holidays!

Maddie greeted me at the door with a big smile and those big blue eyes. Such a cutie that was fun to capture right before her first birthday next week. Her mom had ordered this tutu especially for the portrait session and it really was perfect for this lil’ beauty. Very fitting for a princess. This lil’ handsome man was such a joy to capture. I had the pleasure to photograph him as a newborn as well and he’s still just as laid back as he was then. Very happy and content baby. This session took place on a HOT day this summer, so we cooled off indoors where there was air conditioning. Turned out perfectly! Don’t you just want to pinch those cheeks?!

Walter was such a joy to capture during his newborn photography session. He is lucky to have a big brother to show him the ropes of life. From what I understand, big brother is super lovable with the new baby in the house. What a lucky family! This will be a fun Thanksgiving and Christmas for sure with two young boys in the house.
