Best Newborn Portrait Winner! | St. Louis Award Winning Children’s Photographer

I’m proud to announce that I am a Top Professional Award Recipient – again! Earlier this year I won Best Child Portrait for 2010 and this morning I got word that I won Best Newborn Portrait for 2010! You may remember sweet baby G from his newborn portrait session as well as from the opening page of the Yvonne Niemann Photography website.  I chose to enter this particular image for the photography contest because I just love how the foliage frames him and the richness of the portrait. I also think it’s a timeless piece of art that can easily be passed down through the generations. Thanks baby G for allowing me to capture this award winning portrait.

I’m happy to announce that I’ve moved up to the next level and am one of five official nominees in the running to win the title of Best Family Photographer in St. Louis. Wow! What an honor!!!!! I received an e-mail today that I’m one of 18 St. Louis Photographers in the running for Best Family Photographer! So, I need your help…

Please (pretty please) nominate Yvonne Niemann Photography for Best Family Photographer in Nickelodeon’s Parents’ Picks Awards! The five photographers with the MOST nominations will be crowned the official nominees and will go on for the final voting process.

Contest Winner! | St. Louis Professional Photographer

I entered this image for a photography contest earlier in the month. The theme was Spring and had to be shot using natural light. This portrait fit that bill. There were over 700 entries and my photo was among the top 50! I won $100 to use towards The Light Workshop! Yay!

You probably recognize this image from a recent post of  a tea party in a beautiful apple orchard!

{I had this image enlarged to 20×24 and framed for my living room wall! This is just one of the frames included in the Yvonne Niemann Photography product lineup that will debut in June}
