Walter was such a joy to capture during his newborn photography session. He is lucky to have a big brother to show him the ropes of life. From what I understand, big brother is super lovable with the new baby in the house. What a lucky family! This will be a fun Thanksgiving and Christmas for sure with two young boys in the house. Enjoy!
This beautiful lady is expecting another lil’ boy in just a couple of months. I had the pleasure to capture her last pregnancy with a maternity portrait session and it was such an honor to do it again a year and a half later! We were hoping to get outside in the heart of St. Louis City, but it a bit too wet and cold for the three lil’ ones in the family, so we opted to hold their session in the comfort of their home in Caseyville, IL. Worked out great and we got some beautiful images. Can’t wait to meet the lil’ man when he arrives! Congrats and enjoy the sneak peek.

This family is so dear to my heart as I’ve been capturing them since their first son was born. Baby Myles looks so much like his big brother. It’s amazing to see these two together as you can tell how much they adore each other. Such a loving and fun family! Enjoy the music video.
Myles did great during his customized newborn portrait session. He had just come home from the hospital the day before and was super sleepy for us. Perfect for getting the image of him on daddy’s shoulder safely. The well-being of my lil’ subjects always comes first, so I will only attempt certain poses when baby is completely sound asleep and I have a spotter to help. Since I did this same capture with Myles older brother, I was happy that we were able to recreate it for his family. Perfect!
It was a joy to capture this lovely lady tonight. We certainly lucked out with weather as it was a nice warm, calm evening even though rain and heavy winds were predicted just a couple days ago. Perfection. We were under the weeping willow tree when suddenly the sun broke through the clouds giving us beautiful back lighting. It was as if the universe was purposely lining things up perfectly just for this mom-to-be. I actually think things have been in her favor for the last 9 months, which is so deserving for this family. Congratulations and I can’t wait to meet your lil’ one when he arrives! Enjoy the sneak peek.
It was a pleasure photographing lil’ Mr. Walt as I’ve been capturing his big brother since he was born! Ben loves his baby brother and gave lots of kisses. So sweet. Walt really loves being swaddled, which I remember his big brother liking as an infant as well. Can’t wait to share more, but these two will have to do for now. Enjoy!
I adored this family and their portrait session that took place this summer. We got some amazingly beautiful images and you’d never know how hot it was! This session ALMOST didn’t happen as we had a lot of flooding in the St. Louis area during this time and the ferry to Golden Eagle was closed for some time. When it opened, it was technically still flooded and my car couldn’t get through the high water, so the girl’s daddy come across to St. Charles to pick me up since his vehicle sits higher and could make it through the deep water. It was quite the fun adventure and so worth the effort. This family now lives on the other side of the globe enjoying their own family adventure. I feel blessed to have them enter my life for the short amount of time I spent with them. I hope they will cherish these portraits for generations to come.
Bella’s portrait session with her family this Autumn was heavenly. Everything aligned up perfectly and this lil’ princess was a pure delight. I had the opportunity to photograph her earlier this year, which produced beautiful portraits in Clayton this summer. She was wonderful to capture back then, but she has obviously been practicing her modeling over the past few months because she just fell into poses by herself and warmed up to the whole process much quicker this time. She’s just the cutest. Her mom did a fabulous job once again on wardrobe for the whole family. I understand she spent hours at night looking for the perfect outfits and I have to say, it really paid off. I mentioned that I may need to hire her as my personal shopper. Don’t you agree?
