This morning, I captured a beautiful couple as they’re expecting their first baby! We were originally scheduled to do this session earlier in the summer, but we opted to hold off a bit since it was 115 degrees with heat index on that day. What a difference. Today was very comfortable with a nice breeze, which was quite refreshing. Much more comfy for mommy-to-be and safer health-wise as well. We got some stunning images of this expanding family! Enjoy the sneak peek. Can’t wait to meet the lil’ one in a couple of weeks!
I had the opportunity to photograph the most amazing family this morning. Isaiah’s mom is the sister of one of my dear clients (Ben’s mommy from the “Ben & Trains” blog post). I had heard a lot about Isaiah and his adoption, so I was thrilled when I found out that I would get to photograph him and his parents! He is such the sweetest baby and his mommy and daddy just adore him. This lil’ man turned eight months this past week and it was the perfect time to capture him crawling, giggling and snuggling with his family. They are truly blessed to have each other!
Ben is all about trains and other modes of transportation, so it made perfect sense to hold his second birthday photography session at the Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood, MO. We were able to keep his attention much longer than at a regular park and we got his true personality to shine through while keeping things sentimental for the family. He is quite the inquisitive lil’ boy who is showing his independence already. He will be a big brother in a short few months and I can wait to see how the two siblings interact!
Last week I visited my family in Clinton, MO with my daughter Lily. My parents moved there last year and I really enjoy exploring the town and surrounding countryside. So pretty. One evening, I did a portrait session for my nephew and I grabbed a few images of my lil’ lady as well. Her birthday is next Wednesday and I wanted to capture her before she turns five years old. Wow! Can’t believe five years ago she was in my belly and I was anxious to meet my baby. Memories are still vivid of that time and I cherish every moment since she’s entered my life. Here’s one of my favorite images of Lily from last week. I’ll share my nephew’s portraits soon.
This family’s photography session took place on a hot and humid morning, but it was worth the beautiful images we got that day. You can tell that this family has a lot of fun together. At the end of the session Chloe got a second wind and decided cuddling with her baby sister was a lot of fun. A tickle fight then ensued, which produced some fun daddy/daughter images. Enjoy the music video!
