Model Perfect Brothers! | Alton Family Photographer
October 31, 2010
Just sharing one for now from last night’s session, but I thought this was a perfect image to highlight these brothers. Aren’t they just model perfect? Well, the whole family is like that! Seriously beautiful family. This family spends a lot of time together on their boat during the summer and they wanted that highlighted, so we headed over to their dock at the Alton Marina for their customized portrait session before they had to put away their boat for the winter. Luckily for us, we had unseasonably warm weather last night, which really worked to our advantage – especially since we were on the water. We got a wide variety of images from the boys hanging out on the docks, fishing, fun shots on the “perfect” hill, portraits in tall grass glowing in the evening setting sun and then a series of images with the Alton bridge as our backdrop. It was such a fun session and I can’t wait to share more images, but for now…just this one. Enjoy the sneak peek!
The Beautiful B Family! | St. Louis Family Photographer
October 30, 2010
I just got back from visiting my bosom buddy in Kansas and I’m missing her already. We met in high school, went to college together and have been there for each other throughout life’s ups and downs. She is someone that I can completely just be myself and be the goober that I can be from time-to-time. It was great seeing her family, staying up late having girl talk, exploring her home area, antiquing and of course the laughing! It was such an honor to capture their FIRST family portraits! Enjoy the sneak peek! xoxo
Today I’m…

The Autumn colors are finally in full swing and I’m in HEAVEN! This is my favorite time of year. Crisp days, beautiful landscapes filled with rich vibrant colors and the falling leaves that rain down like gems cascading from the trees. I am so thankful for this time of year and that we actually have all four seasons in the Midwest. Certainly not the case for everyone in the world. Thank you mother nature for all the beauty you bestow on us.
Baby R’s Storybook | St. Louis Baby Photographer
October 26, 2010
Baby R’s Storybook came in and it’s GORGEOUS, so I had to share! Every time I open the box and see one of these albums, my breath is taken away. Seriously. They are so luxurious with their weight, thick pages, smooth pages and binding. I love how the colors just pop off the pages! This album was custom designed for baby R. I was told that it should be playful and colorful. Mission accomplished!

Music Video for the Birthday Girl! | St. Louis Baby Photographer
October 21, 2010
Happy First Birthday Emma! I’m so glad that I got to watch you grow during your first year of life. You just amazed me during your last session when you got out of the car and took off running! I heard that you’ve been walking for a couple months now! AMAZING! I’m sure you keep your parents on their toes, but I know you bring much joy to both your mommy and daddy as well as those that you encounter. Hope you have a great birthday visiting with family, opening presents {I’m sure the paper and boxes will be the coolest things EVER}, eating cake and snuggling with loved ones. Enjoy the music video!

SURPRISE! | Florissant Baby Photographer
October 19, 2010
Baby R has the best Aunt EVER! Seriously! His Auntie called me to set up a surprise photo session for R’s parents. We had to be a bit sneaky so that they wouldn’t know about it though. I arrived at R’s house when his Aunt was watching him for the day for his portrait session. I wasn’t able to blog or showcase any of his portraits until after his albums came in and his parents got their surprise presents just in case they, or one of their friends, saw baby R and our cover would be blown. Well, Ryan was a delight and I heard that his parents were very surprised with their gift. See…us parents need gifts on the birthdays of our children as well! This family has five children and they deserve to be pampered and not have to worry about scheduling things now and then. Agreed!? So…almost a month later…here’s baby R!
Mr X and his family were such a joy to capture! As you’ll be able to tell from their customized music video, they have a great time together and enjoy each others company! Sit back and enjoy!
It’s not too late to schedule your Autumn family portrait session! Contact Yvonne as soon as possible to get on the calendar and take advantage of the beautiful fall backdrops this time of year.
Baby E Turns ONE! | St. Louis Baby Photographer
October 13, 2010
I can’t believe that lil’ Miss E is turning ONE already! It seems like the other day that I first met her as a newborn. A year ago she wasn’t able to lift her head and now she’s running, dancing and exploring the world! Crazy how fast time passes and how much babies change in their first year. This lil’ beauty has now graduated the Baby’s First Year Program and to be honest, it makes me a bit sad that I won’t be seeing her every few months anymore – even sadder that her family recently moved to Wisconsin. Thankfully there’s Facebook so that I can still see her grow. Enjoy the sneak peek! We got some great captures!
