Twins on the Way! | Ellisville Maternity Photographer
March 27, 2010
This maternity session was delayed by a week due to Spring showers here in St. Louis, but I think it was well worth the wait to get outside for some portraits! The C family is so much fun and have such a great sense of humor. I enjoyed capturing this special time for this family who is about to welcome twins to the world. Can’t wait to meet the lil’ ones when they arrive! Enjoy the sneak peek!
I had the great privilege to capture Mr. L this morning for his three month session! He is so laid back and content – I think he gets it from his parents. You’d never know this mom and dad team are first time parents. They just make everything seem so effortless and may I say….EASY! I’m looking forward to capturing L’s first year in the Baby’s First Year Program and can’t wait to see how much he changes along the way. That first year is such a miracle! Enjoy the sneak peek!
Mini Luxe Album | St. Louis Children’s Photographer
March 17, 2010
Another Mini Luxe Album was delivered today to the M family. I just adore these albums! The thick pages and luxe fabric choices really stand the test of time while preserving your memories. These 5″x5″ albums make a perfect gift for the grandparents or a brag book you can keep in your purse, briefcase or office. This particular album features the Academy Awards fabric! Divine! Set up an appointment to see these beauties in person! See more images and details of these handcrafted albums by clicking here and here.
{Beautiful soft suede luxe fabric covers this album}
{thick pages hold up to wear and tear}
{I love how this lil’ man is looking through his albums from past sessions from his first year of life!}
{fine library binding}
I’ve been hearing the birds singing in the morning, there are buds on the trees, I’m able to go outside without bundling up and there’s no more need for heated seats in my car. All signs that Spring is just around the corner! That means we can get outside again for custom portrait sessions and get rid of those winter coats and cold weather clothing!!! So, what do you wear to your custom portrait session this Spring and Summer? Well, the same advice applies – make sure your clothing choices show off your personality and use layers, textures and color to add some depth and interest. Also, coordinate with other family members instead of being matchy and looking like you’re wearing uniforms. I give more complete information and tips in my “What to Wear” guide to all my clients upon booking a session with me, but below are a few ideas to get you started AND you’ll find these outfits in stores now! {if you want to know where certain items came from, just contact me} Have fun picking out your outfits for your upcoming customized portrait sessions!
{perfect for a family or children’s portrait session}
{great for a maternity session}
I had the privilege to photograph the staff at Stone Falls Chiropractic yesterday for their website and marketing materials. Beautiful and talented ladies! They can take care of your orthotics, acupuncture, massage, nutrition and wellness needs in their beautiful offices at the Stone Falls Center in O’Fallon, IL. I especially love the fact that they do adjustments for infants as well. I know how beneficial chiropractic care can be for lil’ ones and it’s nice to find someone who has the specialized training to handle our babies in this manner!
I’m proud to announce that I am the Top Professional Award Recipient under the Child Portrait category for 2010! You may remember this portrait of sweet Miss E from her one year session. I chose to enter this particular image for the photography contest because it just speaks to me. I love her priceless expression and do I even have to mention those eyes?! GORGEOUS! Thanks Miss E for allowing me to capture this award winning portrait. You’re a winner in my book.
