Happy Birthday Xavier! | University City Baby Photography
January 30, 2010
I can’t get over how much this lil’ man has grown in just a mere year. This is something just amazes me all the time with babies in their first year in this crazy world. It’s just such a miracle that this baby who fit into this basket a year ago now is such a big boy sitting next to it playing with some of his favorite toys. Just doesn’t seem possible. It’s been a fun year capturing this lil’ man and getting to know his parents. Such a fun and caring family and so deserving of all the love they have for each other! Happy Birthday X! May you have many more to come! Enjoy the sneak peek.
Check out more images of Xavier when he was just a couple weeks old, four months and eight months! Same sweet boy, just a bit more grown!
Inspiration! | St. Louis Infant Photographer
January 22, 2010
I follow a lot of blogs for fun and inspiration. There’s one that I always look to for ideas on decorating my daughter’s room and party decorations for lil’ Miss Lily’s birthdays. Spearmint Baby! This blog showcases nurseries, children’s parties, baby showers, do-it-yourself decorating projects, etc… If you’re looking for some fashionable inspiration for styling up your children’s spaces or need some ideas for an upcoming baby or birthday party, this is a great resource. Visit one of my favorite blogs at http://www.spearmintbaby.com/ I actually dream of doing photo sessions in these rooms! So much variety, personality and style sense. It’s every parent’s (and photographer’s) dream!
My Lil’ Lady in Red! | St. Louis Child Photography
January 11, 2010
My daughter Lily is going through a dress phase. Refuses to wear pants or anything that doesn’t make her feel like a princess. {can you blame her?} Well, yesterday she was excited about daddy coming home and asked me to curl her hair so that she looked extra pretty for when he came home. Primping began – curled hair, painted toe nails, pretty favorite dress, etc… We were waiting patiently for daddy to come home and my lil’ Lily asked me to take her picture, so while I was grabbing my camera, she moved the log holder over so she could use it as a chair and then I took a few images of her. When they were to HER satisfaction, she asked if I would take some portraits of her lambie. Made me smile because I know how much lambie means to her and it was touching that she was so thoughtful of his feelings and wanted to include him. So, these are Lily’s favorite images that I took of her and lambie yesterday. She’s turning into quite the art director these days. LOVE that.
{can you feel the love?!}
{this is lambie – he’s been a part of the family since Lily was a couple weeks old}
Portrait of a Photographer! | Historic St. Charles Photographer
January 5, 2010
I had the great opportunity to capture some images of another beautiful and talented photographer! It was bitterly cold and we had to go into shops to warm up from time to time, but it was so much fun snapping away and talking shop with another shutter lover. Historic St. Charles is such a charming place and makes for perfect backdrops for portraits. Thanks for hanging with me for a few hours and making it through the elements. It was a lot of fun!!!
