This family has a lot to celebrate lately! Birthdays! Lil’ princess just celebrated a birthday last month and the prince of the family is turning one in the coming month. Such a wonderful time to document. These two are so lucky to have each other to go through the journey of life and even more lucky to have such loving and fun parents. Lil’ man is really into sports already – especially baseball and the lil’ lady, in contrast, is very much into everything pink. She really was happy to include her animals in her portraits that we did in her room. Congrats you two! Enjoy the music video.

It was a beautiful Spring evening for this family’s maternity portrait session. Quite the gem of the day actually, especially with all the rain that we had gotten prior and after. Snow White Has Never Been More Beautiful!

Last night I had a fun session with a beautiful lil’ lady who adores Snow White! Her mom had this beautiful dress made, which turned out to be so fitting for her portrait session! Isn’t she just a little princess?! She is full of personality who loves her mommy, daddy and doggie. Such a perfect model too. Thank goodness we finally got a dry day yesterday as we had gotten rained out on other evenings. Thankfully this area with the yellow flowers on the bushes was still in bloom. I can’t believe almost an entire year has gone by since I captured this family last. Their lil’ girl just celebrated her birthday last month and her brother is turning one! What a busy time of year for this family! We lucked out with the weather yesterday morning and even though the grass was quite wet from all the rain we’ve had recently in St. Louis, we were able to produce some beautiful family portraits! These lil’ ladies were too cute together. We held their portrait session at their home in Central West End. It had rained the entire day and night before, but we lucked out the morning I took their portraits. It was a bit cooler and foggy, but it made for some fun images. Enjoy the music video.

I love capturing the beauty of pregnancy! It’s such a special and beautiful time that is full of wonderment and miracles. Spring brings new life to mother nature as trees and flowers bloom, grass grows, birds chirp and animals wake from their winter hibernation and scurry about! I think that’s why this time of year makes it even more magical for expecting moms. Last night’s maternity portrait session took place at a local park in St. Louis. Family arrived perfectly coordinated and were so much fun to work with. Such a sweet family. I was so impressed with how good their lil’ girl was throughout the session. I think it has something to do with how calm and patient the parents are. I picked this image for their sneak peek as I love how the tree limbs seem to be embracing this expecting mom. The blooming flowers also seem so fitting for a maternity portrait. Enjoy! We got some beautiful images!!!!! Many, many more to share.

Spring is here in full bloom in St. Louis right now, which makes for some beautiful portraits. I happened upon this tunnel of trees about a week ago and after discussing options, we decided to hold this family’s portrait session at this location. Mom is a good friend of mine as well as a talented photographer. Our love of photography is what brought us together, but we quickly found that we had much more in common. This lil’ man was the perfect model during his first portrait session at this family’s home in University City, MO! I couldn’t get over how calm he was! Isn’t he just the cutest? It was an honor to capture this beautiful family last night. Both parents are good friends of mine as I used to work with the dad back in my video days. After all the countless hours editing and shooting together we remained comrades. His wife is a talented producer herself and beautiful inside and out. I remember their son coming into work rattling off lines from the three stooges as a little boy. I can’t believe he is now graduating high school. Oh, how time flies! Simply put – I adore this family! So, of course when they asked me to capture their family before N took off for college, I said yes! They found this location at a local park and let me know that it was perfect for their portrait needs! I agree. So pretty and lots of variety.
